  1. I bet those will look beautiful when you spin them up. Will you Navajo ply or just spin/ply as they naturally work out?

    • Generally Navajo plying, as opposed to standard 3-ply, is only useful if the colors are discrete in the fiber. When it is already blended, like this is, there will be no visual benefit because the colors will be mingled regardless.

      I hope they come out well. I bought these from the local fiber festival (it was held 2 blocks from my apartment) and they were $8 for 4oz, so even with the ridiculous California sales tax, I spent under $20. But I have no current plans as to what I would want to do with these. Lately I have been trying to wait to spin fiber until I have a goal in mind, but given that these are merino -alpaca, it’s unlikely they will be a thin yarn since both are short staple-length fibers.
